2) Install an anti virus software.

3) People using Windows XP can turn on windows firewall. Just click on Start, Settings, Control Panel and double click on "Windows Firewall" and select On (recommended) option. If you do not have Windows XP then install other well know firewalls like Zone Alarm.

4) Windows XP users can turn on automatic updates. Just Click Start, Settings, Control Panel. Double click on "Security Center", click on Automatic settings and Turn it ON. (So that’s extra protection for XP users)

5) Install one software of each of the following type- An anti adware/spyware software, anti virus software and firewall protection software.
